Jonte’ is a native of Louisiana. At the age of 15, her journey in dance began as she studied genres such as jazz, ballet, and modern dance. After relocating to New Orleans, LA in 2002, she discovered the dynamic styles of Latin dance and, needless to say, her passion for dance immensely grew. Since then, training with dance partners and traveling extensively to Salsa congresses within the U.S. and some internationally has all contributed to her growth as a dancer.

In 2009, Jonte’ co-founded Mambo Orleans, one of the only professional Latin dance teams in New Orleans. During her time with M.O., she gained more experience in instructing, performing and choreographing, and was also introduced to social event planning. Jonte’ has performed at congresses and events in Dallas, Houston, D.C., Philadelphia, and Cancun. Events that she co-coordinated include the New Orleans Jam: RELOADED in collaboration with Nikkii Jammzz Productions and the Mambo Orleans One Year Anniversary Celebration.
   
Very recently, Jonte’ has relocated to New Jersey in hopes of further pursuing her career in dance.
